Marcus, 21, at the Sydney “Students Say No to Hanson” walkout on 13 August 2026. The Guardian asked why he was there. He named Gina Rinehart. The article attaches no donation, contract, vote, or other mechanism.

That is the claim this card files. It is not the whole week.

What did have a receipt, same day:

  • The walkout was organised by the National Union of Students, with High School Anticapitalists helping pull schoolkids. Education Minister Jason Clare told them to protest on the weekend and be at school when school is on. It was a strike, not a solo wag.
  • One Nation is up. Roy Morgan, 3–9 August 2026 (n=1,647): One Nation 26% primary, Labor 25.5%, Coalition 22%. Redbridge/AFR had been around 31%. Same Redbridge slice: 21% of 18–29s still put One Nation first.
  • Hanson did call for a “monocultural” Australia at the National Press Club in June, and did sit down with Tommy Robinson. Those are utterances. They are not a purchase order from Hancock Prospecting.
  • NUS said she voted against free TAFE, public-school funding and student-debt relief. They Vote For You scores her as having voted almost always against fee-free TAFE. That is a voting record. It is not “bought out by coal.”

The poll rise is evidence. The votes are evidence. “Bought out by Gina” is a name where a receipt should be.
