Transmission of COVID-19 is primarily through droplet and fomite spread.
Droplets are larger particles of body fluid that are affected by gravity within a few seconds and can therefore travel only short distances through the air before landing on surrounding surfaces.
Current evidence suggests that while it is plausible that coronaviruses can survive in aerosol form within fluid particles under certain conditions this is not the primary mechanism for transmission in the community.
That is the Australian specialist consensus that sat under 1.5 m, surface-wiping, and “not an aerosol-generating event” for ordinary breathing.
The other meter
WHO later treated airborne/aerosol spread as real. Indoor outbreaks without close spray did not fit “gravity within a few seconds.” The 1.5 m SMS (already filed) is this sentence, turned into a text.
What this file does not do
It does not file “doctors were lying.” March 2020 was early. It files the sentence that became a year of tape on the floor.
