Privacy

Short version: we count page views with Google Analytics. We do not run accounts, ads, or a mailing list. The hall is a public git repo, not a dossier on you.

The even shorter version. If you just read the site, Google may see that a page loaded. If you email us, we have your email. If you open a GitHub issue, that is public. We do not sell any of it, mostly because there is almost nothing to sell.

Analytics

Every public page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-J0TM5BKG3S). Google may set cookies and process the page URL, approximate location, device and browser, and the referring site. Google’s rules apply, not ours: privacy policy, Analytics data practices.

Why: to see which cards people actually open, and which ones bounce.
What we look at: aggregates. Not “Colin from Mallacoota read the Gina card at 4pm.”
What we do not run: ads, heatmaps, session replay, marketing pixels.

You can block the tag with a browser or extension. The hall still works. That is the whole point of a static site.

The host

Pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any CDN, it sees the technical facts of a request (IP address, URL, user-agent) to deliver the file. We do not keep a visitor database on top of that.

What we do not collect

No logins, newsletters, or comment boxes.
No fingerprinting of our own.
Share buttons open X, Facebook, and the rest. Those companies see the click. We do not get a carbon copy.

Evidence files

Captures under /evidence/ are of sources that were already public. They are not a back door into anyone’s private life. If we got that wrong, email us.
