What did have a receipt:

  • That five-day snap was one of six Melbourne lockdowns. Guardian, 22 October 2021: stay-at-home orders ended after a cumulative 262 days.
  • ABC Fact Check: 262 days is the Victorian total; the longest single stretch was 111 days. “World’s most locked-down” is a different argument (Iquique, 287). The slogan was five days to avoid longer. The meter is 262.

Grammar: five days, circuit-breaker. Logic: a running total is not a snap. Rhetoric: short, sharp.
